Big Pinch Releases Two Singles “Three Bridges” & “Emeraldine”

Big Pinch’s new single “Three Bridges” is everything you could ask for to anyone who’s been following the band since their first release back in 2021, and it’s finally here.

“Three Bridges” opens with an acoustic guitar riff that the whole band jumps in on to lay the foundation for Burke’s lyrics about making choices in life. “Didn’t want to go, why did you say so?” This lyric hits the brain just as smooth as the drum-fill that comes before it. Around the 2:24 mark, the band transitions into a third section (third bridge?) full of catchy guitar lines that buzz around your head simultaneously, before all settling just as the song fades. The second track, “Emeraldine”, kicks in with a beautiful spring-reverb driven guitar riff, that instantly feels reminiscent of something from the past. “I'll move the furniture outside and start the house show” instantly pulls me into memories from numerous DIY house shows. The song progresses around the 2:25 mark into a funky guitar-driven groove, complimented with punchy bass fills and long drum fills. The longest being around the three-minute mark, before the song develops back into the warm distortion and catchy melodies that stay stuck in your ear the moment the track fades to silence.
